本誌でも取材歴がある、釧路市の「あんずの種」（旧杏園堂鍼灸院）。開院30年を記念して、院長を務める須藤隆昭さんが書き下ろした、人生の指南本。世界を旅した学生時代の旅行記録から、鍼の道を目指すことになったきっかけや師との出会い、また、釧路と宮古島を行き来し「移動距離日本一の鍼灸院」となる同院の採用活動や人材育成についてなど、経営者の視点からも楽しめる一冊です。

■著者　須藤隆昭


1959年北海道釧路市生まれ。
1978年より立命館大学探検部に所属し、ユーラシア大陸24ヶ国の旅、バングラデシュ難民調査等の活動。1983年「ふるさと十勝」で編集者として勤務。1986年に北海道鍼灸専門学校に入学し、3年後、鍼灸師の資格を取得。1989年に台湾・中国留学。その後、「東方鍼灸院」で研修。1991年、釧路に「杏園堂鍼灸院」を開設。二度の移転後、2015年に治療院名を「あんずの種」と変えて宮古島分院を開設。3,000キロを移動しながら「旅する鍼灸院」を主管。「カラダとマチのツボ探検家」として世界50数か国を旅し、旅と健康の謎を探検中。
